Update on the Air Mattress Ordeal!

Well, my Dr. FINALLY got around to getting in the script for the medical grade air mattress!! He FINALLY got script in, and now we just have to wait to see what my lovely medical insurance will do with the script.  As I have said many times before, Medical insurance doesn't usually pay for those unless you get a pressure ulcer, and you're already in trouble!!! Once that happens, then they'll think about possibly covering a medical grade air mattress! Until then, you're on your own. But we can always hope for the best right? Hahahahaha! Don't you just love America Healthcare? I DO!!!! They'll see you through, and you'll be just fine! ((NOT))!!!!!! Notice my Sarcasm?

In other words, you know that nursing website I told you about last week on this blog? Allnurses? Well, I wanted to see if I could get some support being that I have a whole lot of medical experience with the medical field, and am very familiar with the medical field. They're not going to accept me, since I'm not a nurse. I've pretty much decided to abandon the website, and call it quits!!! Questions I had didn't get answered. They just don't accept you, if you are not a nurse. And that's how It'll stay. I asked some questions about the Clinitron Bed, because I've studied it, as best as I could, and they thought I was crazy for asking as a patient. But You know, I've been in hospitals so many times, I've had the CODE CART brought in on me. I've had a slew of operations, and I've studied this stuff all of my life. So, what's the big deal if I ask a question about the Clinitron bed, which I want to learn more about? What's so bad about asking on a nursing website?  They are not exactly friendly with me on that website, so I'm going to abandon it, and move on.

I did call the company that deals with the Clinitron beds, and they stated that they ARE going to send me the User's Manual to the bed! So we'll see if they do it! I'm thankful I at least got that far!

In other news, Not much is going on. My family will be going to my sister's for Christmas, and It's suppose to be in the 50s, so I will take that as a plus! THAT IS NOT the 70s, like I would call the PERFECT Christmas, but It's something close to the 70s, so I'm definitely excited about that!! Warm Christmas days are always my favorite types of Christmases! I LOVE being able to go outside on Christmas and say, "IT'S WARM OUT TODAY, and It's Christmas!" LOL!

Well, thank you for those who might read this blog in the future! I will continue to keep you all updated on the air mattress ordeal. Hopefully we'll actually see a good ending to that ordeal! Have a great day, and God bless!
