Not much new happening!
Well, it's been several days since I poted in the blog, and I figured that I should go a head and post. There's been really nothing new that's happened lately. We've had a big snow storm, and have a few inches of snow on the ground. If you know me, I HATE SNOW! What normal person likes snow? I don't! I wasn't able to go to Physical Therapy because of the snow, and my Respiratory Therapist wasn't able to bring a replacement VOCSN Ventilator, from where mine stopped working. So I have a piece of garbage Trilogy EVO ventilator! The Trilogy EVO ventilator is truly a horrible low grade ventilator, and It's really meant for a patient who's on BIPAP, or some other form of Non-Invasive Ventilation. I don't know why these companies make ventilators with passive leaks, and then claim that they can be used for trach patients as well as the Non-Invasive Ventilator patients. They shouldn't be using this type of ventilation for a trach patient. EVER!!! But companies like Philips Respironics do it all the time!! And you wonder why people have trouble tolerating the ventilator, when they have a trach. I believe Philips Respironics started this a long time ago! But those people are idiots!!! There's a reason I call Philips Respironics Idiots! If you want to know why, read about the whole recall mess!
Anyhow, as for seeing the TASER I was telling you last week, to make a long story short, It's probably not happening, and we'll just leave it at that. The officer's supervisor doesn't like the idea, and I'm not going to try to fight for something that's just a waste of my time trying to make happen, when it's in all likelihood not gonna happen. I have to fight for the stuff I can succeed on getting to happen. bottom line is, the supervisor isn't going to understand what I know about the TASER device, and probably sees me as someone who does not know doodley squat about it. Truth is, I've worked my butt off studying TASER devices. It's a hobby of mine to study, and learn stuff about TASERs, and I've always had a massive interest in the TASER device. But the supervisor doesn't know that, because she hasn't met me. THERE, Now I'm dropping the subject, and It will never be mentioned here again. The situation with Scott trying to get me to be able to see and hold his TASER? I want you to pretend that never happened. That that blog post never existed. NEXT SUBJECT!!
In other words, I LOVE my RAD 97 Pulse Oximeter! It's a GREAT monitor, and I'm comfortable on it. It's hospital grade, and that's the only type of medical equipment I will allow to be used to monitor me. I don't want some low class oximeter monitoring me. So that's great news!! Anybody who knows me knows I expect a GOOD pulse oximeter. Not some low class piece of junk machine. I'm thankful that I got a good pulse oximeter!
Not much else is going on, so we'll see when I update the blog again. It could be tomorrow, or it could be several days, or weeks from now. Usually in the winter, not much goes on with me, unless I'm sick. I'm sick a lot in the winter. But as far as big events, not much goes on with me this time of year.
